Sharing the FRITZ!Repeater's Wi-Fi guest access via QR code

The FRITZ!Repeater provides an extra QR code for its Wi-Fi guest access so that your guests can easily connect to the FRITZ!Repeater's guest access with their smartphones or tablets. If you use the FRITZ!Repeater in a restaurant, café or other place with many walk-in customers, you can also print out the QR code and share it with guests in different places, for example on the food or drink menu.

If you do not offer the FRITZ!Repeater's Wi-Fi guest access all the time, you can quickly enable it at any time using FRITZ!App Wi-Fi.

1 Printing info sheet

  1. Click on 'Wi-Fi' in the user interface of the FRITZ!Repeater.
  2. Click on 'Guest Access' in the 'Wi-Fi' menu.
  3. If the guest access is not enabled, enable the Wi-Fi guest access and click on 'Apply'.
  4. Click on 'Print Info Sheet'.
  5. Click on 'Print Page' to print the info sheet with the QR code for guest access.

2 Using FRITZ!App Wi-Fi to enable and share the guest access

  1. Start FRITZ!App Wi-Fi.
  2. If you are using FRITZ!App Wi-Fi in Android, tap on the symbol and then on 'Share Wi-Fi'; if you are using iOS, tap on 'Wireless Guest Access'.
  3. Enable the Wi-Fi guest access if it is not already enabled.
  4. Now FRITZ!App Wi-Fi displays the QR code for the Wi-Fi guest access
