Does the FRITZ!Box transmit IPv6 data over VPN?

The FRITZ!Box can establish VPN connections (IPSec, WireGuard) over both IPv4 and IPv6. This means that VPN connections can also be established if the FRITZ!Box is operated on an internet connection with Dual-Stack Lite (DS-Lite).

Within the VPN tunnel, however, the FRITZ!Box transmits only IPv4 data. Via VPN it is not possible to access IPv6 internet services or devices in the remote network that can only be reached via IPv6.
