Setting up a Vodafone IP PBX connection in the FRITZ!Box

You can set up a Vodafone IP PBX in the FRITZ!Box (Vodafone's product 'IP-Anlagen-Anschluss' or 'Komfort-Anschluss Plus').

You can configure up to 20 phone numbers and  conduct multiple simultaneous calls via the IP PBX connection.

Setting up a Vodafone IP PBX connection

  1. Click on 'Telephony' in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click on 'Phone Numbers' in the 'Telephony' menu.
  3. Click on the 'New Phone Number' button.
  4. Select 'Vodafone IP Anlagen-Anschluss' from the 'Telephony provider' drop-down list.
  5. Enter the DDI offset number (main number) of the connection.
  6. Select the length of the longest internal extension number from the 'Length of extension' drop-down list.
  7. In the 'Extension of the console' field, enter the first usable extension of the number block, for example '0' or '00'.

    Note:Enter the first usable extension even if you do not want to use this extension.

  8. Enter the other phone numbers of your connection. You can enter up to 19 additional phone numbers that you can use for phones and other terminal devices connected to the FRITZ!Box.
  9. Enter your username (SIP username) and password (SIP password) in the 'Account Information' section.
  10. Enter the proxy server (Service SIP Proxy) that you received from Vodafone together with your phone numbers and account information.
  11. Click on 'Next' and follow the wizard's instructions.
