Adjusting the MyFRITZ! email notification

If you entered an email address for the MyFRITZ! report when setting up your FRITZ!Box, you receive emails from MyFRITZ!Net at regular intervals. These emails inform you about the current status of your FRITZ! devices and other news. Your FRITZ!Box also automatically sends emails via MyFRITZ!Net that inform you about important events, for example when:

  • a FRITZ!OS update is available for the FRITZ!Box
  • you forgot your FRITZ!Box password
  • someone logs into your FRITZ!Box from the internet (maximum one email per hour).

If you set up a MyFRITZ account, in the account settings you can define which email notifications you wish to receive and which ones you do not want to receive any longer:

  1. Call up myfritz.net in a web browser.
  2. In the corresponding fields, enter the email address and MyFRITZ! password you used to register with MyFRITZ!Net, and click on 'Log In'.
  3. Solve the CAPTCHA.
  4. Click on the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the web page and then click on ‘MyFRITZ!Net Settings’.
  5. Click "Email Notifications".
  6. Select the email notifications you wish to receive and click "Save".
