You cannot use the FRITZ!Box as a wireless extender. However, when used in combination with an additional FRITZ!Box that supports FRITZ!Mesh, you can configure the FRITZ!Box as a Mesh Repeater and use a network cable to connect it to the existing FRITZ!Box (Mesh Master).

If you want to extend the Wi-Fi range of your FRITZ!Box or a router from another manufacturer via a Wi-Fi connection, you can use a FRITZ!Repeater. FRITZ!Repeaters behave like conventional wireless devices towards wireless routers and can therefore be used with all commercially available routers.
